Hitman Suspensions Out Perform the Competition

Hitman Hotrods is now offering the finestest in suspension control. Through our efforts to provide a superior ride to our customers, we have teamed up with RCD Classics to supply Eastern Canada with their line of coil overs and shocks for your ride!

Who is RCD Classics and what do they do?  RCD Classics is a division of RACE CAR DYNAMICS (RCD) www.racecardynamics.com that specializes in Bilstein Shocks for the Street Rod, Hot Rod, Classics and Muscle Car markets. We have developed a line of Black Bilstein Shock Absorbers dedicated to the Classic and Muscle Car market.

The focus at RCD Classics is to give you the best ride and handling possible. No longer will any other shock do! Our cars drive faster and stop quicker than ever before. Your suspension is only as good as its weakest link; don't overlook one of your vehicles's most important parts. Shock absorbers control the suspension motion and keep the tire in contact with the pavement. It is not uncommon for us to spend thousands of dollars on wheels, tires, high horsepower engines but when it comes to the shock absorbers don't think that a generic off the shelf piece is going to do the job. Whether you have an Air Ride, Coil-Over, Mustang II, Straight Axle or Parallel Leaf Combination, RCD Classics can guarantee a better ride. Some common complaints we hear about a vehicle's suspension are; lack of control, harshness over bumps, bottoming out of the suspension. If you are in the process of building a vehicle or already on the road, we can help! A vehicle equipped with RCD Bilstein gas pressure shock absorbers will give you control, stability, precise handling and comfort you deserve.

Race Car Dynamics has been in the suspension business for over 25 years, building off road suspension components, chassis and other parts. RCD SUSPENSION manufactures and distributes suspension lift kits for light truck and sport utility vehicles, all of which use Bilstein Shock Absorbers. As for myself, working directly for Bilstein for over 9 years and being directly involved with inception of the Bilstein Hot Rod Shock Division. For the last fifteen years I have dedicated my career to gathering information and developing this product line. I have been talking with you the customer, working with car builders, listening to the problems and helping to correct shock related problems. If I could pass one thing along that I have learned to you it would be "keep it simple". We believe rather than smoke and mirrors, you the consumer deserve the best product available and we have it!

The illustrations below show how a RCD Classics Bilstein Shock is designed. This often the thing you won't see from competitors shocks, what is actually inside the shock and how it works.

Digressive Working Piston Assembly - The piston head design allows independent tuning of the compression and rebound damping forces to provide optimum ride comfort and performance without compromise. It features fewer parts than most conventional twin tube and so call "adjustable" shock designs. This simple, yet exceptional functional digressive design contributes to the extreme durability and long life of Bilstein Shock Absorbers.

The photo below dramatically illustrates the size difference between the working piston inside a Bilstein monotube shock and one found in a typical "twin tube" shock.

The Bilstein has a 228% larger surface than the average conventional twin tube piston offering greater sensitivity and superior vehicle control.
